Library: Visit Hawaii Libraries
All students (K-8) are scheduled to use our school library for leisure reading or to enhance the value of self-study and research. Upper grade students may also utilize the Waialua Public Library. Our school has the facility to dial in to the Hawaii State Library to borrow books. A Hawaii State Library card is required to borrow on-line. An application is available at the school library.
Community Service:
Community service encourages children to extend themselves (beyond their own family into the community) to help others, often less fortunate or less able. Community service is the sharing of time and talents with others without payment. It is meant to round the child by building self-esteem and satisfaction in giving of themselves.
