Excursions: 

Field trips are scheduled to enrich the curriculum and to give the students a variety of realistic experiences. These outings are thoroughly planned and closely supervised. The 8th grade class end the school year with a trip to the Big Island. We are also implementing outer island trips for the 6th and 7th grade.

All students must have an "Excursions Release Form," signed by their parents/guardians, on file in the office in order to participate. This form is sent out at the beginning of the year or during the time of registration. Parents/guardians will be informed when their child(ren) will be going on an excursion. Parents/guardians will be asked to confirm that they are aware of the excursions by signing a form. When necessary, parents/guardians are also required to provide payment for the field trip. The fee for the trip is used to cover entrance fees and/or rental of bus services.

Children are NOT to bring anything on the bus, unless otherwise directed by their teacher. Example: NO backpack, Nintendo, etc.
