Aloha e St. Michael ‘Ohana,
Mahalo… To all the families who joined us in celebrating St. Francis of Assisi with the Blessing of the Animals. It was a fun-filled morning! Students brought to school a mixture of live pets and an assortment of pictures and stuffed animals to be blessed by Father Lusius. We appreciate your continued support for the students and our school! Congratulations… St. Michael School participated in this year’s fire prevention mural painting project. Congratulations to Taylor DeLima, whose artwork was chosen among area schools to be displayed in front of the Waialua Fire Station starting today! Feel free to stop by and take a picture of the mural. This year’s theme is “Hear the Beep Where You Sleep. Every Bedroom Needs a Working Smoke Alarm”. Fire Prevention Week runs from October 4 through October 10. Few Reminders… In support of World Day of Bullying Prevention, students may wear a blue shirt to school on Monday, October 5, 2015. Preschool Conferences: October 7 & October 8 (No school for preschoolers only). Fall Break: No School on October 9 & October 12. If you have any questions, please call the school office.
